Joenathan S. Chaplin a native of Walterboro, SC earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Political Science from the Citadel (1989) and a Juris Doctorate from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law (1995). While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Chaplin worked as a law clerk at the offices of Debra Chaplin and Leigh Leventis, and the Richland County Solicitor's Office. Prior to opening his private law practice, Mr. Chaplin served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Richland County Solicitor's Office primarily prosecuting drug cases. He is a member of the Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church. Mr. Chaplin is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., as well as a member of the Trial Lawyers Association.
