On May 10, 2006, Attorney Joenathan S. Chaplin went to court in the Fourteenth Circuit with a client facing this situation. Once again, Attorney Chaplin was able to deliver a favorable outcome for his client, who was able to walk out of the courtroom with Attorney Chaplin after receiving a 5 year sentence suspended to a 5 year probationary term.Client gets time served sentence after originally receiving 5.5 years Sentence in Federal Court.On November 28, 2005, Attorney Joenathan S. Chaplin went to Federal Court with his client in order to argue for a reduction in his client's sentence. The client had originally been sentenced in the Fall of 2004 for a total of 67 months, or roughly 5 and a half years. Attorney Chaplin was able to effectively argue for and receive a time served sentence for his client after he served only 378 days in prison...i.e., instead of his client having to go back to prison, he was able to be released and return home. |
